First time camping here. We had a tent site. We enjoyed it other than being right on the river were people were fishing right behind the fence. Other than that it was great and staff and check in was super nice and friendly!

Staff were beyond amazing, super helpful, super friendly, very knowledgeable. Our fire ring was flooded with water while others around us were not, kinda frustrating. It is not disclosed that there is a large fence between your site and the river/ponds. Indoor pool did not feel heated. Bathrooms were kept super clean. Lots of wonderful free amenities.

We arrived late but had a reservation, and all the info was ready for us at the check-in station. We liked the covered picnic table, especially as it rained more than forecast overnight. The restroom and showers were very good.

We had a great time and the campground was packed. It was a wonderful weekend with the family and the second time we have been to your campground. My only issue was the bath houses were not as clean as they have been in the past. I did notice that it seemed all hands on deck doing the Halloween stuff, but with a full campground, more attention to the bath hourses would have been a little better.

Check in was very easy. Our site had an awesome shelter, tent pad, fire ring and table. Having electricity in the fall is a plus so we could have some heat in our tent and charge those awful phones. Our site was near the bathhouse and way to close to a very noisy hwy. The highway, which is 2 lane is very busy and the vehicles were very loud. The store closes at 5 pm. Very clean. Best there.

Everything was great except the hot water in the bath house was non existent. Cold showers = not fun.

First time staying at this KOA. Wonderful location. Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back. One small gripe, but not anything that would constitute losing any points in our book, the sand pads were considerably smaller than other KOAs we have stayed at. We have a large tent and it was tough finding a place to set it up. Other than that it was a wonderful stay!

Clean and spacious sites. Friendly and helpful staff! The bath houses are very clean! Great activities for the seasons! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!

Staff was very friendly, the grounds were neat & clean. The bathrooms were pretty tidy to be communal. Loved the hot tub, was my 1st camping experience & im ready for another!

It would have been 5 stars, but the tent site was really small and packed in next to the other one. There was not much privacy.

We camped in a tent and had a great time in the great outdoors. KOA went all out for a spectacular weekend. We can't wait to come back and make more memories

I’ve been camping my entire life. I’ve been to at least 10-15 campgrounds. Cherokee KOA is the nicest I’ve been to by far. The bathhouse was clean and extremely nice. 10/10, would stay again.

We loved the amenities at this KOA. However the sites were fairly close together which normally would not be an issues except that several neighbors were smoking weed the entire stay. Mornings, evenings, nighttime. For a family friendly place this was unacceptable in my opinion.

This is one of the great KOAs. Tons of amenities, and the staff really put in a lot of effort. They've decorations for Halloween would out do most cities. Fabulous to see. The location is ideal for visiting Gatlinburg, Blue Ridge Pkwy, Smokies, and Ashville as well as the town of Cherokee

Such a great time! They did run out of ice cream during first 20 min of the activity so my son could not participate besides that everything was fun! Try the tubing trip, worth every penny!!

Awesome time, spent with my brother. We had a good site on the river. Very peaceful and relaxing. The place was very clean The trout fishing was awesome. Will definitely be back soon

This is a great KOA and camping spot in general! The staff were extremely helpful from pre-arrival to late check-in, and all onsite needs once we were there. We rented a deluxe cabin which was well appointed. The location is just far enough out of downtown Cherokee to be quiet and serene yet just a few minutes drive and you're right at the Oconolufte visitor's center in GSMNP. We requested help with getting a cooking grill grate added to our campfire ring and not only did the office staff kindly request it, but it was already swapped out by the time we walked back to our cabin.

The staff was very pleasant and the facilities were maintained well. There are plenty of things to entertain the kids with onsite, the fishing was good and location provided nice views. We definitely had a great time and certainly plan on returning!
