We love koa. At other koas, the base cabin has heating and air. We did not get an escort to our cabin, my son took a cold shower due to hot water not working. The pool was down, the pool facility was not heated. Hot tube has no bubbles. Staff was not very friendly. We will not be going back to this KoA. We made the best of it, but compared to other koas, this was hands down the worst.

Loved it. The only down side were the cobwebs in the cabins and although the floors looked clean I do not think thay had been moped in awhile. From the time we checked in, our feet and or socks were really dirty just walking around.

This visit was our first time and we loved it. The sites were amazing. And the entire campground was well kep, clean, quiet. Great for families and fishing. I would suggest some markers on the roads and the campsites for when you are coming in at night especially. We will definitely be back

Our site was easy to get to. We have 43ft fifth wheel so we love the extra long sites.

We had a wonderful time. There was some mix up with what cabin we were supposed to be in but Kim in the office was so very nice and very helpful.. she went above and beyond to help us out with Everything.. I totally Appreciate her and all the staff at KOA … we will be back!!

The staff (check-in) is rude. Everyone telling you different stories. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Check ins are not efficient, they do not handle requests from customers. Kim is super rude & hateful. She does NOT need to be in customer service. Tammy over on the Fishing license counter was 100% awesome, friendly & helpful & needs a raise, working circles around other

The staff were professional and courteous. We have stayed her in the past and our grandson loves all the activities and other children around. The other campers are respectful and friendly. We will be back again soon to experience the new pool and outdoor facility.

we haven't been to this campground in about five years. The improvements you have made are fantastic. We love the paw pens and plan to camp here alot more in the coming year. The staff were awesome, very friendly and helpful with everything. Thank you for an awesome time.

The environment was good. The bathrooms were nasty, no soap in womens bathroom. Sock behind bunk bed, white Mold on wall behind bunk bed, floor nasty, spider webs in cabin. Talked to James about the problem and nothing was done. Strange people outside cabin first night that didn't stay there, The bathrooms were never cleaned right the whole time we was there.

Multiple problems with our cabin, asked to be switched and they had nothing available. So they told me that they could switch me to one one night and another the next night. We decided to leave, becase the power outage, holes in windows, broken windows, multiple problems with other guests. We were only refunded for the 2 days that we decided not to stay for. Nothing else.

It was a wonderful stay. Very clean & well-kempt. The campsite was the perfect combination with nature & the staff was very polite & helpful. I love that it is pet friendly as my dog loved his daily walks, the campers were friendly too. The only concern I have is that there were a few dogs off leash on their campsite that reacted to us walking and ran toward us. The owners got control thankfully.

The first night was great, we got there late and they had our cabin ready for us. The next day was not good at all… I had received 2 separate messages that I would get 20% off to extend my stay so I went up to the office jessica said there were no more cabins left to check later I came back 2 different times the last time she was pretty rude and didn’t even check the computer before saying no.

We had such a great stay! The amenities were perfect for the kids and the adults really enjoyed the trout fishing. We really appreciated the effort your team put into having our 4 sites close to each other even though you were completely booked. We will certainly be back for another visit!!

Really like this campground. Friendly staff, clean. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is it’s super busy with kids everywhere and the dog pen sites people took advantage leaving dogs out barking a lot. I would stay here again.

We stayed at Cherokee KOA for the opening day of trout fishing, never have the gates been locked before going to the pond. This year they were locked and not opened even after speaking to staff about this issue. Staff were rude and I would love to speak to someone about my experience. We were not the only guest who were not happy with the experience for this weekend.

My family spent three nights camping and had a wonderful experience. Campsites were clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were clean as well. The campground had plenty of activities for kids. We will stay there again.

$50 for a decent, barebones cabin right by the stream, can't beat it. We didn't bring blankets and pillows for everyone, which was a rookie mistake, but everything else was good.

The camp was nice . We had a deluxe cabin it was very clean . However the beds were hard. We had a bunch of guys next door stayed outside till 12 and 1 am playing corn hole. They played music and screamed every time someone made a score. I called after hours phone and Noone answered. We had to keep asking them to move so we could pull out of our parking spot we had to park at pond most of the ti

Everything was decent, about what you would expect with a few exceptions. The jumping pillow wasn’t inflated on the day we left, so my kids were pretty disappointed about that as they were looking forward to it, but I’m sure there was a reason (we made one up anyway). And the lack of activities were also a pretty big disappointment given our previous experiences at this KOA.

I love my stay but I came up there to fish but nobody told us you that we could start and hour before daylight and I think it would be nice to have it too weekend my grandson love it there and the golf cart was very nice to rent and we will be back and I think the store need to stay open later .It a great place we love it .

Lots were clean and nice size. Only complaint was because hot tub was broken for some time before we got there and hadn't been repaired. The main reason we picked this camp over others.

We love staying at Cherokee KOA. The campsites are spaced well. We trout fish so the river and pond boarding the campground are huge plus. Our only complaint this visit (opening day for trout fishing) was the management did not unlock gates early at the ponds so we could get spot to fish. We stay at these campsites mainly to fish so this was very important to us.

I stayed at the Cherokee KOA a few years back (twice) and said I would never stay again. Due to a family event I reluctantly stayed recently, Im glad I did ! The park was well kept, the staff was great. I was surprised to say the least. I was told by other campers that the campground had changed hands (owners) and they too were very pleased with the changes. Looking forward to another stay.

This is a great KOA and camping spot in general! The staff were extremely helpful from pre-arrival to late check-in, and all onsite needs once we were there. We rented a deluxe cabin which was well appointed. The location is just far enough out of downtown Cherokee to be quiet and serene yet just a few minutes drive and you're right at the Oconolufte visitor's center in GSMNP. We requested help with getting a cooking grill grate added to our campfire ring and not only did the office staff kindly request it, but it was already swapped out by the time we walked back to our cabin.

The staff was very pleasant and the facilities were maintained well. There are plenty of things to entertain the kids with onsite, the fishing was good and location provided nice views. We definitely had a great time and certainly plan on returning!
