Absolutely delightful place to stay. Campers of all kinds, from Overland rooftop tents to motorcoach. Staff is friendly and attentive and the facility is well maintained. 10/10!

This was such an amazing stay! The campground had so much to do and it was clean. The discount for being law enforcement was also a nice touch. Can’t wait to go back!!

It’s a great place for a relaxing time away. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Speedy delivery on wood and trash pickup. Our cabin was a little dirty when we arrived. Cob webs weren’t cleaned off the front porch. Found an old Cheeto in our room. The cabin didn’t smell freshly cleaned. Overall, still a great place to relax.

We had a great time! Our site was nice and shaded. The campstore was super nice and very big! We enjoyed the cooler weather and were able to have fires every night we were there! Thanks for all the help at the front desk Ray and thank you for taking us to our site Thomas!

The staff and the pool/store area were very nice, and we enjoyed the snack bar at the pool. However, the grounds are not well kept and are in very poor shape. The grass was long and there were weeds everywhere. We saw lots of staff driving around, but no groundwork was occurring. It would be so simple to have these workers trading off riding around and groundwork. Fix the grounds for 5 stars.

The staff are great and friendly. The Creek / River is a little misleading behind the RV sites. Map show it as a flowing creek. It is not. There need to be some regulations on speed, kids on golf carts etc. It's like a free for all. I'm surprised no one has been hit.

The pool was amazing the staff are always helpful. However we were not aware that our cabin had no AC. It was a very hot day we could not enjoy the cabin during the day time and at night to sleep it was very hot.

Great campground with friendly staff. Very nice pool complex. Very clean restroom/ showers. We are looking forward to returning in October!

Loved our cabin. But not it’s location. We didn’t have a designated parking spot and never knew if there would be a parking place. Didn’t like the fact that we had to plug our golf cart in to charge either. Had to drive it down the sidewalk in between cabins to do it. Got parked in, the man in the cabin behind us let us drive the golf cart through his area to get out. Frustrating

Our stay was good, the campground has good swimming pool for adults as well as children. I would recommend camping staff spray poison ivy and clear back areas of the cabins so campers can access and enjoy to the river. Replace necessary light fixtures and bolts inside the cabins. Overall, would definitely recommend the campground to anyone and we will definitely come back next year.

We had a group of about 25 people. The only complaint was that the grass/weeds around the deluxe cabins and near the river were not maintained well like they have been in the past. There were many areas of really tall grass/weeds around our cabins/sites.

Have always loved staying here. So many wonderful changes. Some for good and some I think needs attention. The Cabin had spider webs and floors were dirty. Missed the security at night. The hot tub inside was dirty. But overall we totally loved our stay and will be back.

We had a really great weekend stay for my birthday weekend. I just wish the mattresses in the cabins were a little more comfortable than they were for what we paid for the cabin.

We drove in from Birmingham schedule to stay at another campground. We we arrived we found they only had thirty amp service and we needed fifty amp. We had no adapter for thirty amp service. We decided to go back down the mountain to find another campground. We stopped at KOA hoping they could accommodate us. The staff was able to help and I couldn’t be happier. The property was great but our room upon arrival was very dirty floors were dirty Cobb webs everywhere understandable outside but not inside. Mattress was absolutely disgusting luckily we brought our own covers to put between us and Mattress. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Don't think I would pay 125 a night again for that type of mattresses and cleanliness but love the property.

Absolutely love this campground! So much for my grandchildren to do, just amazing! Clean cabins and campsite, we rented both in our week here. Very accommodating staff, they will help you with just about anything!

Awesome time, spent with my brother. We had a good site on the river. Very peaceful and relaxing. The place was very clean The trout fishing was awesome. Will definitely be back soon

This is a great KOA and camping spot in general! The staff were extremely helpful from pre-arrival to late check-in, and all onsite needs once we were there. We rented a deluxe cabin which was well appointed. The location is just far enough out of downtown Cherokee to be quiet and serene yet just a few minutes drive and you're right at the Oconolufte visitor's center in GSMNP. We requested help with getting a cooking grill grate added to our campfire ring and not only did the office staff kindly request it, but it was already swapped out by the time we walked back to our cabin.
